Trumpet with backings | £175 |

Hi. I am a professional, reliable and experienced trumpet/piano player.
I am available as a trumpet/ piano player for wedding services and receptions with a wide range of repertoire. I can offer discounts when more than one service is booked, e.g piano for the signing of the register and trumpet for the processional/ recessional or trumpet and vocals with backing tracks for the reception.
Please listen to my audio recordings of piano solo, trumpet/vocals and professional backing tracks.
As a trumpet player I can perform as a soloist for weddings with an organist, unaccompanied or with vocals and professional backing tracks. For this I use a custom made stand banner and dress appropriately.
Music for the wedding breakfast/ reception can be provided with the Dinner Jazz music of solo trumpet/ vocals plus backings (see video) through a professional Roland portable, battery powered PA system. Alternatively I can play piano and have a portable piano which is battery powered (see video). The benefit of battery powered equipment is that you don’t need to worry about pat tests or power sources. Also there is more flexibility in choice of position for the performer, less room is needed and less risk of trip hazards.
Also available are the Brassworks Brass Quartet/ Oompah Brass quartet. This is an excellent group made up of trumpet, horn, trombone and bass trombone (see fb videos).
As an extra, the Morris Minor show in the picture can be booked as part of your day/ event to give that vintage feel.
I can add other musicians if required such as a piano player and a vocalist, depending on your budget and venue size. I also have various ensembles for the wedding evening reception
Background information
I have studied classical trumpet to MMus, LTCL AND LLCM standard. I am happy to play for weddings and other church services and to perform last post or fanfares. My repertoire also includes orchestral solos such as the Haydn Trumpet Concerto and I run a brass quartet.
I play piano for weddings, church services and funerals. I regularly accompany choirs and students
I have passed the Graduate Diploma in jazz at St Andrews University. I play lead and jazz trumpet with Dr Jazz and the Cheshire Cats big band and many small jazz ensembles such as Kit and the Cats and I regularly play for musical shows in the pit.
