I've been providing the perfect soundtrack for audiences all over the world for over a decade. I specialise in popular music from the 60s to today, and in providing the perfect entertainment for your big day. I love to travel and am happy to answer any questions you may have so we can make your event perfect.
When I’m not bringing the groove to events like yours, I’m enjoying life as a singer-songwriter with music of my own. I have been played on TV (Hollyoaks, ITV Sports) and radio stations worldwide (BBC Radio 2 with Dermot O’Leary, BBC 6Music with Tom Robinson and other stations all over the globe) and have graced many a festival stage with my original material (including a couple of slots at Glastonbury).
Artists I might cover on a night like yours include George Ezra, Eagles, The Beatles, Ed Sheehan, Rihanna, Oasis, Taylor Swift, Del Amitri, Crowded House, Prince, The Jayhawks, Tracey Chapman, Roxette, Elbow, Foo Fighters, Bear’s Den, Tom Petty, Take That, Ryan Adams, Donovan, Willie Nelson, Fleetwood Mac, Glen Campbell, Green Day, Sheryl Crowe, Don McLean, Elton John, Jimmy Eat World, The Verve, Simon & Garfunkle, Bob Dylan, David Grey, Erasure, The Rolling Stones, Dire Straits
and there are more being added to the list all the time.
Entertaining isn't just about singing songs, it's about understanding the host's needs and being able to read the room and play something just right for that moment. And that's what I intend to do for you!
My years of experience have taught me how to deliver exactly what you need, and how to ensure your guests never forget the fun they had. So book me, and let's get the party started!!
Based in Bath, Bath And North East Somerset
I play tunes from recent years right back to the sixties and would be happy to curate the perfect playlist for your night. My list grows every week but here's a sample (and please let me know if you'd like me to play specific songs so I can get them fresh in mind!). I've grouped it roughly by era so if you can't find the one you're looking for, it might be in another list!
The following list is sorted roughly into eras and/or styles - for country/americana style music please make sure you check out the category at the bottom.
Please note there is also a section for Christmas music!

I travel with all my own equipment so all I need is a space of around 2-3 square metres. If playing inside I will choose one of two PA systems based on the sound required on the day so mains power may be required. If playing outdoors I have a portable battery-powered system which is smaller but with great sound and super-portable for moving from one spot to another.
Yes, I bring all my own equipment. Please tell me if lighting is required though as I only set up lights if specifically requested.
Please let me know how to access the venue, where the best load-in point is and where to park.
Yes, I have bluetooth capabilities so can play background music from Spotify when I'm not singing.
I've had the pleasure of playing lots of fantastic gigs but among the favourites have to be playing at Glastonbury, supporting Badly Drawn Boy & opening for McFly. And the most beautiful venue I've played would be one of two fantastic wedding venues, one on the rocks looking out at the sea at Tunnels Beaches in North Devon, and one at an amazing chateau in Champagne, France.
I'm probably influenced most by artists like Jeff Buckley & Ryan Adams when it comes to writing and singing - artists with beautiful lyrics, great voices and stunning guitar work. Also artists like the Beatles and Eagles for their lyrics and harmonies. It's too difficult to choose a favourite song of all time but among my top choices ever would be Tracy Chapman's 'Baby, can I hold you?', the Beatles' 'Nowhere man' and Erasure's 'A little respect'.
I've been playing in front of audiences since I was 15 so that's 25 years of being on stage, but don't tell anyone - if anyone asks I'm 'still in my 30s'! I've played solo and as part of several bands and I've played all over the world at festivals, private events and in all kinds of other settings. I'm currently working with my band Young Martyrs who recently released our second album, and as a solo performer.
I've had fun at everything from dive bars to big festival stages to weddings in amazing castles and everything in between. I'll play anywhere, every gig has its charms!
Yes, I'm always happy to do something new! Please get in touch if you have something a little differing in mind.
Setup time is normally around 30 mins as long as the location is easy to get to once parked.
Performance times are based on whatever you've booked me for, from one hour to a full day!
Yes, I'm happy outdoors as long as I have shelter if needed.
For private bookings I will happily learn a couple of requests as long as I'm given a week or two to learn them. I will also take any suggestions in terms of favoured artists and styles, and will try to tailor my set accordingly.
For public venues - bars, clubs, festivals - I will choose the repertoire personally, based on what feels right from my long list of favourite tunes.
A recent review hopefully sums up my performance and the way I work:
“As soon as we booked Tom, communication was great. Nothing was too much trouble and he was so flexible when it came to timings and weather. Our guests commented about the great atmosphere he created at our venue during the reception drinks. We feel so lucky that Tom could play at our wedding!”
