Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

Parking space for 2 cars.
Access to electrical mains.
Suitably large performance space, ideally approximately 6m wide by 3m deep.

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

Yes, we have our own PA system and lights.

What information do you require about a venue?

We need to know the stage size, how big the venue is (so we know which speakers are most suitable to bring), if there is a sound limiter and if there is access to an electrical mains power supply close to the stage. Ideally some pictures or a website of the venue so we know what to expect and there's no booby traps when we arrive.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes we can provide basic background music through an iPod/iPad etc, or we can DJ after the set for an extra cost. We always make sure speak to the client to find out their musical tastes and try to fit certain songs in as best as we can.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever played at?

We play our own music and have played in festivals and our own gigs throughout the country. Our most recent headline gigs in Liverpool were sold out and it was surreal to have the whole crowd singing along to our original songs!

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

We have a range of influences that have shaped us as musicians over the years. You can probably tell a few by our setlists as we mainly play songs that we actually like! Our tastes range from artists such as The Beatles to modern day musicians such as Fred Again. We love 80's music.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

We first formed a band in 2010, just a few friends playing terrible covers and learning how to play in a band. Fast forward to the modern day and we've self released music as different bands, played sold out shows, festivals, weddings, countless cover gigs and honed our craft to what you see today. We've all studied music in university and it's our passion and hope this is evident when you see us play.

What's your favourite type of event to play at?

Every gig is different and surprises us, there's always something memorable! Our favourite gigs are where the crowd are energetic and with us from the first song. It doesn't matter about the venue or anything else surrounding the evening, if the crowd genuinely love live music and sing along to every word, it makes our job the best job in the world.

Will you learn a first dance song?

We will always endeavour to learn a first dance song if it's something you'd like. In some cases it's not feasible for us for a number of reasons, in which case we can just play it through our PA system and start playing as soon as the song has finished.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

One hour set up, performance times can be split up in 2x45 minute sets or 2x60 minute sets, depending on your needs.
We can DJ between sets and afterwards got an increase in price.

Are you happy to perform outside?

We're happy to perform outside and have done so many times. Obviously we just need a power supply close to hand; we have extension cables but they only reach so far and having everything going through one or two extension cables is never ideal.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

Yes definitely, we always ask the client about their musical tastes and if they have artists and songs that they love and hate, to make sure we play the right music. Clients are welcome to pick an entire setlist if they'd like, but we are also experienced and sometimes recognise that a client's setlist might not necessarily flow well of work in a certain order. We always communicate with the client as much as possible so everyone is on the same page.
If we're providing a bandeoke service, the songs will normally be chosen by the guests on the night.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Our customers usually describe us as professional and that we have the dance floor bouncing from the first song. They often comment that we make their night and people are talking about us afterwards!
