THE WASHBOARD RESONATORS ARE A VINTAGE GUITAR, BANJO, UKULELE AND WASHBOARD DUO WITH A SUITCASE BASS DRUM THAT EMBODY THE 1920s, 30s & 40s.

PERFECT AS BACKGROUND MUSIC AT A WEDDING OR PARTY AS WELL AS THE MAIN BAND FOR YOUR EVENT.

WE ARE VERY FLEXIBLE AND OFTEN DO WEDDING DAYS AS ACOUSTIC BACKGROUND OR TWEAK OUR SET TO INCLUDE LOADS OF FOOTSTOMPING TUNES FOR NIGHTIME PARTIES.

WHEN DOING PUBLIC SHOWS WE HAVE A DIFFERENT SET AGAIN THAT HAS MORE SHOWPIECE SONGS (TAP-DANCING, COMEDY, INSTRUMENT SWAPS ETC) FOR A SEATED WATCHING AUDIENCE SO WE CAN ENTERTAIN WITH A MIXED VAUDEVILLE STYLE SHOW.

AS SUCH WE HAVE BEEN BOOKED AT A WIDE RANGE OF EVENTS. SEATED GALA DINNERS, WEDDINGS DAY AND NIGHT, OUTDOOR FESTIVALS, THEATRES, CABARET, VINTAGE EVENTS AND CORPORATE PARTIES.

THE MUSIC COVERS A RANGE FROM THE 1920s, 30s & 40s INCLUDING; BLUES, JAZZ, SWING, RAGTIME, FOLK, AND POPULAR SONGS.

WE GENERALLY DO 2 X 45 MINS AT EVENING EVENTS BUT AS BACKGROUND CAN FILL 2-3 HOURS IF NEEDED. GET IN TOUCH WITH YOUR REQUIREMENTS TO SEE WHAT WE CAN DO FOR YOU.

WE PLAY ONE HUNDRED PLUS GIGS A YEAR... AS WELL AS THE ABOVE WE PLAY UK TOURS IN SUPPORT OF OUR ALBUMS OF ORIGINAL SONGS AND HAVE BEEN FEATURED AT SOME OF THE TOP FESTIVALS LIKE; UPTON JAZZ, GIN FESTIVAL LTD, THE FESTIVAL OF VINTAGE YORK, THE GREAT BRITISH RYTHYM AND BLUES FESTIVAL, TENBY BLUES FESTIVAL AND MARSDEN JAZZ.

WE WERE ALSO VERY LUCKY TO BE CHOSEN BY THE NATIONAL RAILWAY MUSEUM TO PLAY MUSIC AT THE FLYING SCOTSMAN VIP 'WELCOME HOME DINNER'.

I cannot recommend Martyn and Jack enough. I came across them on Last Minute Musicians and was desperate to book them for the drinks reception at our wedding, even though they're based in Leeds and our wedding was in Chichester. I thought it wouldn't hurt to get in contact and Martyn got back to me quickly with a very reasonable price, even though it meant a lot of travel for them and staying the night in Chichester.

In the lead up to the wedding Martyn was very quick at answering any questions and confirming arrangements. On the day itself they were just fantastic! They set up in plenty of time, looked incredible and of course most importantly their music was phenomenal! We have had SO many comments on how incredible the guys were and my biggest regret of the whole day was that I didn't hear more of their music as I had to go off for photos. Guests informed me Jack even started tap dancing!

I cannot recommend these guys enough and I am so thankful to them for helping to make our wedding day as fun as it was. Thanks guys!
