The Urban 90s Collective have shared the bill with 90s legends Judge Jules, Artful Dodger, Danny Rampling, Five, Liberty X, S Club 7, K Klass, Ultrabeat and N Trance and have performed live on stage backing 90s house diva Angie Brown and the ‘Queen of Rave’ Rozalla ‘Bringing back the rave’ to Glastonbury, Victorious, Big Chill, Secret Garden Party and Godiva festivals.
They are a male and female fronted band supported by some of the finest multi-instrumentalists in the land. You can expect epic guitars solos, anthemic synthesizers, grooving bass/drums/electronic percussion, MC breaks and four part vocal harmonies supported by a high end sound system and programmed light show. Here’s what some true 90s greats have to say about the band:
"You guys are Solid...!" (Angie Brown - Bizarre Inc.)
“You guys are amazing, thank you” (Rozalla - Everybody’s Free)
"Great cover version guys!" (Coco Star - Toca's Miracle)

Staging Area
The band will require at least 150 square feet (say; 10ft depth, 15ft width) to set up.
Power
There should be a minimum of two 13-amp plugs near the staging area. If power is located elsewhere, the venue may need to provide extension leads to run power nearer our location. If the venue uses a generator this must be well grounded, voltage regulated, and a minimum 5kw.
Changing Area
Big enough for 4 people and not a public toilet.
Food
The band will require a ‘hot’ evening meal. The band does not have any allergies and there are no vegetarians.
Loading In and Setting Up
In order to load in the band will require an area where they can park for at least 20 minutes (without risk of getting a ticket).
They will need an unobstructed passageway to the stage with the distance being no more than 50 metres from their vehicles. The band will need access to a lift for venues not on ground level.
It will take 90 minutes to set up.
Yes, we provide a 10,000 watt PA system for up to 700 guests and a fully programmed light show.
We will need the address and load in location. We will also need to know whether we can use our haze machine and whether there is a sound limiter on site.
We provide a free playlist service or clients can log into our system via Bluetooth for their own playlists
Performing our 90s dance show at Victorious Festival to 10,000 people!
Sorry, there is no way we can answer this - we have far too many influences...!
The band started in 2010 and perform 60+ events a year
We like all sorts of events, but a festival is always super fun ??
A typical show would see the band arrive approx. 5.30 pm, take 90m to set up, perform 2x60m sets and finish around 11.30pm (to vacate site around midnight). All of these times can be extended as optional extras...
Yes, providing the performance area is waterproof and level and a safe power supply is available.
The majority of our set list is segued (like a DJ) for non stop dancing (so if can be difficult to untangle individual songs etc). We ask clients to give us a general idea of what they like and we will build a set around their preferences.
