About / Biography

We don't believe that size is important - it's what you do that counts! As a four-piece band (female vocals, guitar, bass, drums) we can cater for smaller, more intimate, events where larger function bands might struggle, right up to events for several hundred people. We have played every type of venue from marquees to castles, hotels to medieval halls, and clubs to festivals.

If you have never booked a band before, or if you do it all the time, we are here to make the process as easy as possible and ensure your event is a success. You will have a specific point of contact with the band, available seven days a week and we're happy to liaise with your venue, planner or crew to sort out all the details of our performance, so you don't have to act as the middleman.

We travel with our own PA and lights - all PAT tested - and, we have £10m Public Liability Insurance. We provide pre-recorded background music and our 'iPod DJ'as standard; and we can offer additional services such as a live DJ and 'Live Lounge' acoustic sets. We have a range of special services for brides and grooms.

Our sound is rockpopindiesoulnroll... it's basically back to back tunes that you and your friends will all know and love. Our set covers the last 50 years (at least!) and every song is a classic!

Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

Ideally we need a performance space of at least 8 meters x 5 metres. We require 2 x 13 amp power sockets and 3 parking spaces. But we're pretty reasonable people, so please get in touch to discuss.

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

Yes, we bring our own PA system to all of our gigs - suitable for upto 150 indoor guests - as well as a simple lighting rig. For larger audiences or outdoor events please contact us.

What information do you require about a venue?

We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music prior to the event."

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever played at?

It's hard to pick, we have performed at so many great events and venues - and each has it's own special character. Although we are suckers for a summer wedding in the Yorkshire countryside...

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

It has to be The Beatles. We always perform at least one of their songs every time we perform, and they are the one artist that brings everyone to the dancefloor and united all ages!

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

Between us we've performed and recorded all over the UK, Europe and USA. You can hear us on everything from indie rock records to advertising jingles. We came together for a friend's party and decided we had something that was worth keeping! That was over 15 years ago, and since then we've performed at hundreds of weddings and events across the North of England.

What's your favourite type of event to play at?

We love playing at all sorts of events but weddings are our favourite! The guests are always happy and it’s easy to get them dancing!

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

We usually require 60-90 minutes to set up and soundcheck, depending on the venue. We normally perform 2 x45 minutes or 2 x 60 minute sets.

Are you happy to perform outside?

We're happy to perform outside provided we have cover, a flat level surface (not directly onto grass) and a safe and dray power supply.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

We will learn one request for clients as part of our standard fee. For additional requests, please make an enquiry. We're happy to work with clients to select a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Previous clients have described us as the perfect band for a party, and one that has something to get everyone on the dancefloor. Clients have also commented on our customer service and our willingness to work with them to make their event a success.
