We can provide background music from Spotify before, after, and between sets. We're happy to curate the playlist or play music chosen by the client.

It's tough to choose just one "best gig" as every event has its own unique energy and highlights. However, some of the most memorable performances we've given have been at weddings where the atmosphere is electric and the dance floor is packed all night. We thrive on that kind of crowd interaction and seeing people genuinely enjoying themselves. In terms of venues, we've been fortunate to play at some fantastic places, including the O2 Islington, O2 Oxford, and the Concord Brighton. These venues have great sound systems and stage setups that really enhance the performance experience for both the band and the audience.

As a band, our musical influences are quite diverse, ranging from classic rock bands like Fleetwood Mac and Queen to modern pop icons like Dua Lipa and Bruno Mars. Pinpointing one favorite artist or "greatest song of all time" is a near-impossible task, as it's so subjective! However, we all share a love for artists who write catchy melodies, deliver energetic performances, and connect with their audience on an emotional level. Ultimately, the "greatest song" is the one that resonates most with the listener in a particular moment.

Each member of The Party Beats has several years of experience in the music industry, performing in various bands and projects before coming together. I, the bassist and band manager, have been performing for about 10 years and also work with a function management company, which gave me valuable insights into the events industry. The Party Beats started gigging over a year ago with the goal of creating a high-energy party band that could cater to a wide range of events. We focused on building a strong repertoire of crowd-pleasing hits and delivering engaging performances that get people dancing.

While we enjoy playing at all sorts of events, weddings hold a special place in our hearts. There's something truly magical about being part of someone's big day and contributing to the joyous atmosphere. We love seeing guests of all ages come together on the dance floor and celebrate love. The energy at weddings is infectious, and it always inspires us to give our best performance.

We normally arrive 2 hours before the performance allowing for around 90 minutes to set up. We normally perform 2 x 60 minute sets. We’re happy to play a bit longer or shorter but we’ve found that these set times suit us and our audiences best.

We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area. We always request for cover as well in case of bad weather and if you have a plan B if this is the case.

We can learn specific songs before the event but we usually limit this to 5 songs. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them. We have found that most events require a broad mix of styles and music to cater for all ages, we know what works really well and when to adapt our set list. We love your input but, we will advise if we think you're song choices aren't a good fit for us or possibly your guests.
