About / Biography

The Last Broadcast (formerly NWS) is a five piece covers band based in Suffolk/Norfolk covering songs from a wide range of genres and eras, including pop, rock and indie.

We like nothing more than performing a lively and rocking set that will get everyone up on the dance floor. We have a wide variety of songs from 60's to present day so there is something for everyone.

The band is comprised of Oli (Lead vocals), James (Guitar & Backing vocals), Josh (Bass & Backing Vocals), Darren (Lead Guitar & Backing Vocals) and Gav (Drums). When we play, we are always in this arrangement to guarantee the best possible performance. We always try to make the songs sound as close to the originals as possible unless it's done in a new and fun way.

All five members have a long history in bands from all kinds of genres but have come together to form a band that everyone will want to see!

In short, if you want a powerful band that always goes the extra mile for the best sound and music for your event then look no further than The Last Broadcast!

We just did five nights at Primevil in full halloween costumes, that was a lot of fun.

We take approximately 90 minutes to setup and sound check.

We usually play 2 x 60 minute sets but this can be tailored for your individual needs.

We're happy to play outside, but we will require shade, a flat level playing surface and the weather would need to be reasonable. We would also require power.

We have a set collection of songs, but are happy to tweak things slightly if necessary.

The Last Broadcast were the evening entertainment for our wedding reception recently. They played a great variety of classic songs catering for all ages. They entertained the guests excellently and had the dance floor full from start to finish. We would not hesitate in recommending them for future events. Great band, great songs and a great night. Kate and Carl Bagshaw

We just want to say a very big thank you to you all for a fantastic night.

Everyone said what a great night it was and I think that was confirmed by how many were on the dance floor, young and old. Your songs were spot on, and the sound was brilliant. Thank you so much for helping us raise lots of cash for 14th Lowestoft Scout Groups 75th Anniversary. Lots of people have said they can’t wait for the next gig, so we will have to sort out a date. Thanks once again for a great night. Angie & David Marjoram
