The Frank Birkbeck group (guitar, double bass & drums + vocals if required) are a jazz trio that play rhythms from around the globe, from intoxicating Latin infused Bossas and Sambas to toe tapping jazz standards, to modern rock classics played with a Jazz take. Think Sinatra's 'Witchcraft' as a slow grooving Samba played straight after 'Kiss from a Rose' by Seal as a Jazz Waltz, with a Calypso from the West Indies thrown in for good measure.

With a repertoire of over 250 songs and growing, we are happy to take song requests prior to booking too.

Perfect for all types of parties, special events, small events, exhibitions, garden parties, promotions and weddings..

We'll always keep volumes sensible to the event, so there's no struggling to hear across the table in a restaurant scenario. Equally, we are just at home as the focal point of an event.

For regular residency bookings we start at £330, plus travel time and distance (residency bookings defined as more than 6 bookings per year) £430, plus travel with vocals

For one off events (starting at £450, plus travel and distance. £550, plus travel, for vocals) we can perform up to a total of 2 hours in either 3/4 x 30 min sets, 2/3 x 45 in min sets or 2 x 1 hour sets. Each with a 15 minutes break. 30 minutes sets are best for two dinner services... If you require performance in a different format please let us know.

We will have to charge a little extra for travel.

We guarantee bookings for your special day up to 2 years in advance, with complete confidence.

Space needed; we are very compact. We require only 10 by 6 feet to perform if space is at a premium. We have all our own PA and amplifiers, and set up time is within 20 minutes with minimal disruption to guests (we've even practiced this!)

We are able to provide our own generator if electricity isn't available, as well as a gazebo. Very much self contained.
