The musicianship was fantastic and Will's regular contact and flexibility really reduced our stress levels.
We had high expectations after seeing the other positive testimonials and these were totally exceeded…….."

"Absolutely recommend this band. Booked them for my 50th birthday party. Very professional to deal with, lovely people, great fun, and first class musicians; you’d think it was the actual Chilli Peppers etc. They totally rocked their sets and can do a range of venues. I'm just looking for an excuse to do it all again."

Want live music at your wedding/party, but you're a little bit too rock'n'roll to settle for the average wedding band ? We're here for you !
Need a covers band with some oomph to get a festival crowd dancing and singing? That's us :-)
Do you manage a music pub/venue that prides itself on booking the very best live bands to entertain your punters? Look no further!
The Fabulators combine faultless professionalism and attention to detail with the power, passion and grit you'd expect from your favourite rock, indie or pop-punk outfit.
The band formed around 2011 in Buckinghamshire, where we’re still based. We cover a wide range of artists from Amy Winehouse to Blink 182, The Killers, The B52's , Red Hot Chilli Peppers and many more, with the emphasis on danceable rock and indie crowd pleasers. If you "get" our collective take on how a party should sound - trust us - we'll deliver a set that will put smiles on faces and feet on the dance floor! Our goal has been to choose the songs we love, put in the time in to play them very, very well, and provide top class entertainment for people who broadly share our tastes, rather than trying to play everything and ending up doing it soullessly, or to a mediocre standard. We don't claim to have a 1000 song repertoire, but you won't catch us "busking it" as we read our cues from an ipad or music stand, either!
Callum fronts the band, bringing variety and dynamism to every show, with Elliot Smith providing superb bass and backing vocals, while the blur of flailing arms and legs at the back that is Josh Green holds it all together for us on drums. As a three piece band with two distinctive and charismatic vocalists, we can perform your favourite anthems with the energy and accuracy of a much bigger band.
A lot of function bands feature a frontman/woman plus an ever changing roster of backing musicians, but The Fabulators are very much a BAND, and the resulting chemistry on stage makes the whole audience feel they're part of something special. A Fabs gig is more like seeing an indie/rock band with the best back catalogue in the world than seeing your average covers band.
We've played weddings, parties of every kind, festivals, award shows, car shows and even one funeral. From big stages supporting the likes of Toploader and Scouting for Girls, to broom cupboards, fields in the middle of nowhere, and at least one hospital for the criminally insane (yes really!).
We offer a professional service to our clients, and deliver an exhilarating and uplifting experience to audiences!
Full P.A. and stage lighting provided as well as D.J. service before/between sets by arrangement. We hold public liability insurance up to 5 million, and use only the highest quality, pat tested equipment.
Please check out the technical info, price guides, et.c. on our listing as there's lots of useful information there!
Depending on availability and budget, we are prepared to play anywhere in the u.k, or internationally.*
*Please note, The Fabulators will not perform at venues with noise limiters installed. We do not play loud for the sake of loud....but whatever the venue tells you (and they will), a venue with a decibel limiter is not suitable for live music of the genres we play.

Performance space: a hard, level, dry performance space, measuring a minimum of 4 x 3 metres. Band performances will benefit from a raised stage - this is not essential, but in the absence of a stage, there must be a clear delineation between performance space and dancefloor. We reserve the right to end our performance without notice in the event of unauthorized use of our equipment or stage invasion by guests, which compromises the safety of our equipment, the quality of our performance, and personal safety of all involved. It is the responsibility of the client/their event organiser to ensure adequate steps are taken to maintain stage security.
b) Power supply: at least two domestic-style three-pin 13 amp plug sockets preferably at either side of the performance area. If possible sockets should be supplied from separate ring circuits so that power is evenly distributed. Total power loading will not exceed 5 kilowatts (5000 watts) and we will probably use a lot less than this. If the Client’s venue requires PLI or PAT certificates from us, the Client must let us know as soon as possible.
c) Unloading/loading: Please ensure a loading area is available at the venue that can be used for a 20-minute stop without risk of receiving a parking fine. If the performance area is over 50 metres from the loading area or not on ground floor level (and no lift is available), the band might need help from venue staff and/or guests. d) Food and drink: We may need to be on site for several hours before performing. If the venue is in a location beyond walking distance of shops selling food/drink, a meal should be provided for each act member as well as soft drinks or water for the duration of the act's stay at the venue. Dietary requirements: One vegan, three omnivores.
e) Changing room: not essential but would be appreciated. By “changing room” we mean a room where we can eat, change and prepare for the performance. Ideally, this should contain a mirror, chairs and mains electricity supply. Toilets are not an appropriate substitute!
f) Noise Limiters: The Client must check whether the venue has a noise limiter. If so, we regret we cannot play there. Every venue with a limiter will tell you they "have loads of live bands, and it's not a problem" - they have to keep saying that, rather than lose bookings by admitting their venue is unsuitable for live music, and unfortunately they don't care if the bands sound awful as a result of their restrictions, and will label the musicians as unprofessional or inept if they say they can't easily comply.
No professional band wants to be loud for the sake of it, but our three voices singing a chorus, unamplified, will hit the 95db most limiters are set to. Without any drums guitars or bass. Covering Foo Fighters/Arctic Monkeys/Green Day we cannot "hit the drums more gently" or "sing quieter". It just doesn't work that way.
The truth is, for a rock band, the energy of the performance, and the quality of the sound is so compromised by trying to conform to a limiter that disappointment is inevitable, and we're not prepared to do that to our clients.
We reserve the right to withdraw from any performance that we have committed to without being notified of the presence of a limiter.
We need just over an hour to unload and set up, if access to the stage area is reasonable. We then need about 20-30 minutes to "soundcheck". Soundcheck will involve playing intermittently at performance volume to balance and fine tune the p.a. and monitoring systems. This is essential to ensure you can hear us, we can hear ourselves, and we don’t all get deafened by howling feedback later! If the logistics of your event require an earlier set up/soundcheck, WE NEED TO KNOW! Bear in mind that if you’re an hour away, and you want us soundchecked by 4pm, we’ll probably be loading the van for your event at about 12.30pm, and finish unloading it back home about 2.00 a.m. That’s four very skilled musicians, and about 15K worth of equipment hired for a 13 ½ hr day over a weekend. The two hours on stage is just the fun bit everyone sees…..so early set ups do cost extra - we basically need to charge around £30.00 per man/per hour including travel time, set up/pack away time and waiting around time. It's much less than you'll pay a mechanic to service or repair your car!
As well as countless private parties, weddings and functions of all kinds, we've played for Aylesbury Vale District Council's business awards ceremony, The Swanbourne Music Festival 2017 &2018, The Japanese Auto Extravaganza 2018 and shortly 2019, the N.H.S. (Broadmoor Hospital!) The Betsey Wynne Gastro Pub, New Years Eve 2017 and 2018 to name but a few. We've supported bands such as Toploader and Scouting For Girls.
We're very proud that once we've played an event/venue once, we're nearly always invited back!
