Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music.
We sell out Central London's music venue - Pizza Express Live - every year as a 7 piece band performing our show dedicated to the late Amy Winehouse. Venue has capacity of 115 and we always get an encore :)
Amy Winehouse - Take the Box or October Song from Frank because the genius of her songwriting at 18 years old is amazing. Amy inspires our original music too.
I (Anna, the singer) started performing Open Mic nights at Uni and writing songs - this then developed to busking on the London Underground in 2014/2015 where I would sing to backing tracks. I always got a great response due to the range in my voice I can sing all sorts of tracks and some people likened me to the late Amy Winehouse which inspired me to produce the show about her. It was this show that built up the band I work with today where we cover a range of music from jazz, soul, hip hop to classic Decades hits, as well as working on our original music in the background.
We love playing weddings, barmitzvahs and parties where it's our job to get the party started. We always cover a range of hits that everyone knows and loves which keeps everyone singing and dancing along with us :)
We will arrive at least 1 hour before to set up.
Our standard set length is 2 x 45 mins. For weddings, we have found that an extra 45 min set through dinner/reception has also worked well - especially if you would like us to arrive before your guests to set up, might as well make the most of us being there! :) This also provides your guests some jazz/easy listening before we move on to Soul/Party hits in the evening.
Yes as long as it is safe to plug in and there is shelter/shade depending on the weather!
Yes, we always liaise with the client beforehand to see if they have any requests or also any songs they want to ensure we don't play!
"Professional, friendly and talented band" (real quote :))
We also regularly get told we have great communication and receive lots of compliments from guests.
