The duo's journey began at Oxford University, where both Joel and Josh were members of the internationally acclaimed a cappella group. This talented ensemble garnered widespread attention with their viral hits, catching the attention of the legendary Shakira, and leading them to reach the semi-finals of Britain's Got Talent. After graduating from their studies at Oxford, Joel reached the live finals of The X Factor UK whilst Josh has honed his skills as a backing vocalist for some well-known names.
After their respective successes, Joel and Josh decided to combine their talents and create something truly extraordinary. Yes! We're able to provide sound and lighting for up to 150 guests at events within the UK.
(For sound we use the cutting edge 2 x HK Audio Polar 12 set up. For lighting the Chauvet GigBAR 2.0 plus some uplights. It's allll pretty snazzy.)
Load-in / Parking availability, where we'll be performing, plus any odd bits and bobs that aren't obvious!
Yes! Feel free to put together a playlist of your favourite tunes, or we can play some crowdpleasing hits!
Typically we would arrive 1.5-2 hours before the performance, to set up (45mins) and soundcheck.
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area. If there is a chance of rain we will also need cover to protect our equipment.
We currently have a repertoire of 15 medleys, of which we will usually play 12/13. If keen we are happy to send this to the client in advance for you to choose your favourites!
The most fun!! We leave our dignity at the door and get very much involved with our crowds, coming out to sing moments together, and teach some silly dance moves and generally putting on an unforgettable show that brings everyone together!
