Formed in early 2023 by a coming together of like-minded musicians, we wanted to create an exciting new band that can provide top-quality performances. With years of collective experience and 1000's of gigs under our belts, we are confident in our ability to perform like no other.
Our line-up consists of Vocals, Guitar, keyboard, Bass, and drums (with a whole lot of backing vocals!)
Our standard package is two hours of live music which comes complete with lighting and sound systems. We can add on a DJ service for after the band is finished as well.
For The Late Functions, musical excellence is our top priority; we want the party dancing all night long, and we provide the groove and good vibes to keep everyone on the dance floor. That's why our setlist is chock-full of classics that everyone knows and loves. We aim to have a mixture of well trodden songs that everyone will have heard live at some point, and well-known but little played songs to form a really unqiue setlist.

We played a beautiful wedding at Crover House in Co. Cavan. The venue is stunning and the bride and groom were fantastic.
Being a 5-piece we all have different influences and favourite artists, but as a group we agree that our favourite is Stevie Wonder, which of course means that Superstition is the best song!
We as individuals have all been gigging for years with different function bands playing weddings and all sorts of parties, bars etc, and when we met in 2023 it was clear that we wanted to form a band we could call our own. Since then we have been caring on how we started individually - by playing weddings!
Weddings are our favourite, but we love playing any and all kind of event. Anywhere we can get people dancing!
We usually arrive around 2 hours before the performance to setup and sound check.
Our usual performance times are 2x 1 hour sets, or 3 x 45 minute sets.
Yes, as long as there is cover from rain, a power supply, and a suitable area for us to set up.
Our clients are welcome to pick songs from our setlist, and for a small fee we can learn songs that are not on the setlist, within reason.
