'STEEL PAN JIM' is Jim Bernardin, based in West Sussex on the south coast of England. He has been entertaining audiences and providing uplifting, beautiful background steel pan music at weddings and events for twenty years as a soloist, in small acoustic line-ups and also with his larger award-winning community group, Worthing Steel band.

Jim's melodic style of steel pan playing, using four or two beaters depending on which pans he brings is perfect for enhancing any occasion, whether it be a wedding drinks reception, evening entertainment, aisle walk, a party, celebration or other event, indoors or outdoors.

As a pan soloist Jim plays along to with his own arranged backing music, or completely acoustic with his steel pan duo, trio or band, depending on budget and size of event.

Jim's repertoire is full of iconic songs chosen from genres such as calypso, reggae, soca, salsa, pop, soul r&b, samba and many more. He is also happy to learn a special tune for an occasion, whether that be for a bride, groom or anniversary couple.
