A large charity fundraising event to raise money for a life saving operation. We helped raise over £30,00 and performed in the fantastic Victorian era gothic splendor of the main banqueting hall. We were asked to play for the Lord Mayor the following year.

Soul Federation’s first gig was June 2017 and they have since developed into a successful pub, club, festival, and function band. Playing Soul, Northern Soul, and Blues Brothers classics every gig has resulted in the band being asked back to the venues they have played. Based in Liverpool and Manchester this 10-piece band's variety of ages provide the perfect blend of diverse experience that their audiences appreciate. They added two female singers to support their male lead singer in late 2017. This finalized the line-up of three-piece horn section – trumpet, sax, trombone, keys, percussion, rhythm, and bass guitars. In 2020 industry expert opinion and public votes resulted in Soul Federation being named Wedding Band of The Year North England (Book Entertainment Awards). Individual band members have played in the Middle East, Europe and cruises, as well as appearing on television.

Festivals and lively Weddings are our favourite. However, music venues where there are soul and Blues Brothers fans who love dancing are great too.

Wedding clients can pick their first dance song of choice - even if its not on our active list we will prepare and perform it as pat of the package. Becausue of how we link songs we choose the set list but welcome suggestions from clients.
