The Soul & Motown Experience are a dynamic, energetic, 8 piece tribute band made up of seasoned musicians with a wealth of experience, delivering enthusiastic performances of Soul and Motown classics popular to the Stax label of the 60’s and 70’s, tributing legendary artists such as Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Otis Redding, Stevie Wonder, Wilson Pickett Sam and Dave and many more, transporting audiences back in time.
The Soul & Motown Experience was originally known as the popular 90’s band Soul Fish, who successfully performed at popular venues throughout the UK. Due to popular demand the remaining three former members of Soul Fish reformed the band under the new name The Soul & Motown Experience,
The Soul & Motown Experience's line up now features two powerful vocalists, one male and female, who together deliver an energetic, flamboyant performance with outstanding vocals and stage presence. The former trio members sourced the finest, seasoned musicians to compile an exceptional line up that features Drums, Bass, Guitar, Trumpet, Tenor, Alto and Baritone Sax, together creating a phenomenal authentic sound.
This Yorkshire based band are fast becoming one of the most sought after authentic Soul Acts in the UK, delivering an outstanding performance that continues to impress audiences with their fantastic renditions of timeless classics.

Adequate parking for 3 vehicles, a changing area for 8 members with seating, and power points.
Performance area - Clear entrance and exit to performance area, minimum 4m x 5m performance area, 2 x power sources on performance area, set up area for sound engineer with seat and adequate power source.
Set up - The band require a minimum of 2 hours setup time and a minimum of 1 1/12 hours pack up time. The band will arrive on average a maximum 4 hours from start time of the performance. If additional hours are required, for example the band are required to set up more than 4 hours prior to the performance, an additional charge of £100 per hour will be added on top of the fee.
