Smoking Goats is a Hertfordshire four piece band who are experienced in playing at live venues and festivals as well as family and corporate events. Becky Bremner provides powerful vocals to an Indie Rock inspired band that plays a wide variety of material from the 80s, 90s and 00s. The band are all talented professional musicians. We specialise in picking out covers which are instantly familiar, but not the ones that every other band plays. The band also has original material where this is required.
The band is fully equipped to provide one or more night's entertainment, including PA and lighting. The band is fully insured and has its own transport to move all equipment required to your venue. The band can provide a front of house sound engineer, if required. The band can also provide equipment hire and book support acts for larger events if requested.

We require two parking spaces for two vans for loading equipment in and out.
We need a minimum of 2 x 13 amp power sockets to run equipment.
We need prefer a performance space of a minimum of 6 x 5 meters. We can work in smaller spaces but will need to see photos of the performance area and be sent dimensions so we can plan how to first equipment in.
We are completely self contained but can also work with local sound and lighting systems. We provide our own PA, monitoring and lights upon request.
We need to understand venue location, loading in / out access, stage positioning, venue capacity, power availability and whether there is a sound limiter installed at the venue.
We are happy to provide between set music.
We have performed at a number of festivals amn even help run a small festival in Hertfordshire.
We love Indie rock and pop.
All of the bands members are experienced pro musicians. The band formed 8 years ago and has been gigging through this period.
We love playing all sorts of events, but we have a particular affinity for special events and work hard to make these memorable for our clients.
We typically play 2 - 3 x 45 minute sets creating an overall performance of 2- 3 hours. We are happy to play for longer or shorter periods. We typically require 2 hours to set up and soundcheck and 90 minutes to break down equipment and load out.
We are happy performing outside, but will need cover and a flat surface and we may need to hire a drum riser for the drum kit. We have performed outside on multiple occasions.
We are happy to learn 1-2 specific songs for a gig given reasonable notice.
Previous customers have consistently described the group as having great energy and really getting the crowd going.
