A musician and singer from the age of six, Sophia grew up in a family with music at its heart. She is a natural performer and her love for it shines through. For almost 20 years, she has traveled and performed at hundreds of diverse events, including Royal performances, Corporate and private occasions, sharing her music with people all over the world. From New Delhi, India, throughout Europe and all over the UK, her experience is wide and varied. However, a hopeless romantic herself, Sophia most enjoys being a part of a couple’s wedding day and playing melodic, lyrical pieces to celebrate the happy occasion.

I love romantic music and wonderful female singers like Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey although my favourite is Eva Cassidy who has influenced my song choice and singing style a lot. Greatest song of all time?.... So difficult to choose one!! Fields of Gold :)
I started out gigging with my sisters as The Vernon Sisters for 20 years. We gigged all over the world, performing for royalty and lots of high-profile events. As a group, we then decided to move on and I flew solo and started gigging on my own - singing and accompanying myself on the harp.
Weddings are probably my favourite but I love all types of events as no two events are ever the same!
I'm running a promotion offering brides a free recording of their chosen ceremony songs when they book me!! Great to have a memento of the day and to use in your wedding video!
Arrival: 1.5 h before the performance.
Set up / pack down: 30 minutes, but, ideally, the harp should be on site for at least an hour to settle, if possible.
For a wedding ceremony, I generally perform : 15mins solo harp to welcome guests to ceremony room, 1 x Processional song, 2 songs during the Signing of the Register and 1 x Recessional song
For receptions / dinners, I generally perform 2 x 45mins although can extend if required.
