Scotswood Acoustic Duo are a professional acoustic duo from the North East of England performing a wide range of music to an excellent standard. The duo offer steel and nylon string guitar, two vocals, piano, harmonica, flute and percussion to provide a diverse set of all genres for every occasion.

Scotswood Acoustic Duo consists of two highly experienced and skilled musicians with their chemistry from their personal relationship adding to their performance.

Together, they have performed in many venues and for a wide range of events around the North East and the country. Scotswood Duo can cater for any event including parties, weddings, christenings, restaurant entertainment, lounge bars, black tie and corporate events; their growing repertoire of over three hundred songs allows the perfect set to be written for any occasion. Covering classic artists from The Beatles, Eva Cassidy, Fleetwood Mac, Alanis Morissette, Queen, Beautiful South, Aretha Franklin and The Eagles to current stars such as Adele, Mumford and Sons, George Ezra and even Jessie J and Beyonce; their repertoire is always building.

Alongside their acoustic sets and upon request, Scotswood can also offer sets including backing tracks and electric guitar to fit the occasion, and can also offer instrumental sets to fill the background with guitar, piano and flute arrangements of classics and some well-known melodies.

During their time working overseas, Scotswood Acoustic Duo have been the resident duo for the five star Sensimar Imperial Resort and Spa by Atlantica in Rhodes, Greece for two seasons running. They were personally asked by the manager to return for a second season due to popular demand and excellent feedback from guests. During their first season here they also won the TUI award for “Best Entertainment Team” on the island which is a title they will strive to keep.

Amongst their time in Rhodes they performed lounge sets, poolside sets, background music for the a la carte restaurants and also held weekly request nights; all coming with top class feedback. In between their seasons in Rhodes, Scotswood Acoustic Duo worked as the resident musicians in the Thomson Couples Hotel in Marrakech – The Medina Gardens. With a very different atmosphere and client base, Scotswood Duo adapted and kept their high standard of performances receiving more excellent feedback. During their time here they performed numerous up-tempo sets, poolside sets and also held weekly ‘Live Music Quiz Nights’ which always came with outstanding customer feedback.

They will continue to strive to keep broadening their experiences and building on their skills as performers and musicians, to ensure they meet their own personal aspirations to be the best they can be.
