Yes, I am able to use iTunes playlists, I can choose the music or clients can request - all music selections must be given in advance of the event.
My favourite venue is the Royal Albert Hall, where I’ve been lucky enough to sing professionally a few times. It’s such an iconic venue, and it gives me goosebumps every time I walk out onto that famous stage.
My favourite gig was singing for a wedding at Kew Gardens, it was such a lovely atmosphere and a stunning setting.
My favourite classical singers are sopranos Dawn Upshaw and Barbara Bonney - Dawn has such a versatile voice and is equally at home with jazz and musical theatre as she is with classical music. Barbara has such a pure voice and I love the 20th Century American classical music that she specialises in, though she sings Mozart beautifully too.
My favourite current jazz singer is Emma Smith of the Puppini Sisters, and I am a huge fan of Barbra Streisand. I can't choose one song, there are too many I love!
I always wanted to be a singer, ever since the age of 12 when I joined the school choir. I studied classical music and went on to enjoy a music career that has taken me to some of the world's most iconic venues.
Wedding ceremonies are my favourite type of event because they are so joyous and a privilege to be a part of.
45 minutes set up time
Performance times flexible when arranged in advanced
Happy to play outside but I ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.
My bookings all include a music consultation on zoom to discuss repertoire for your event. Ie can learn specific songs before the event but I usually limit this to 5 songs. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from my repertoire or let me choose the music for them.
Clients always let me know that my singing really helped to create a lovely atmosphere and that many of their guests commented on it. I am also frequently praised for my professionalism and friendliness.
Yes, I am a Jewish Cantorial Singer with several years' experience singing for Reform and Progressive Jewish chuppah ceremonies, and able to sing the Sheva Brachot and other muscial elements of the chuppah.
