Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

Please ensure there is power nearby and a parking space close to the venue.

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

All prices include a fully PAT-tested PA system.

What information do you require about a venue?

Please let me know if the venue has a loading area for when I arrive. It would be useful to know how large the performance area is, and how many guests the venue can hold so I can ensure my PA system is suitable (although I of course don't take up much space as a soloist!)

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

I'm more than happy to play background music through my PA in-between sets.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever played at?

The best gig I've ever done has to be performing at The Trafford Centre's VIP Press & Influencer Christmas Launch Event in November 2023! The most amazing venue is probably The Belfry Hotel & Golf Resort.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

I grew up listening to Eva Cassidy and she is such an inspiration for me. So much so that I'm currently working on a show celebrating her life and music with my jazz band, Smoke & Honey! Watch this space...

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I trained as a classical pianist and singer in my teenage years, and hold an ABRSM Grade 8 Distinction in both piano and singing. I went on to study Music at King's College London where I graduated with a First Class BMus degree. After graduating, I transferred my skills to popular music performance, and have worked closely with soul, pop and R&B musicians across London, Manchester and Liverpool for over 10 years.

I now perform at weddings, events and hotels/restaurants across the UK. In Manchester, I am a regular musician at venues including The Fitzgerald, Albert's Restaurants, Matt & Phred’s, Mala Secret Garden, and Zaranda Didsbury.

What's your favourite type of event to play at?

I adore playing at weddings. Every single one is different, and it's so special to be able to provide the backdrop to such a special moment. Music can really shape so impactful and so beautiful when it comes to creating that magical atmosphere on the day!

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

Setup: 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on venue.
Performance: 2 x 45 minutes or 2 x 60 minutes.

Are you happy to perform outside?

I'm more than happy to perform outside, providing that there's a power supply close-by and a flat level surface (and cover if the weather is looking unpredictable!).

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

I have a tried and tested set list with options that I know work well at different events, whether it's a wedding reception, a corporate event, or a restaurant. However, I'm happy to learn any song requests you may have (usually up to 3). Especially if it's a wedding ceremony, I know it's important for this to be fully bespoke!

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Clients would describe me as a sophisticated, musical soloist that brings elegance and warm vibes to your event!
