About / Biography

Hello,

I’m a solo acoustic guitarist and singer, based in Macclesfield. I’m available to play weddings, private parties, gigs, and other events. As a full-time musician with over 10 years of gigging experience, I enjoy playing in bars and pubs as well as at weddings and festivals.

My sound is gentle and a little folky – great background music! I play my own original songs and a large repertoire of covers to entertain your guests or customers. I’m also happy to learn songs for your event or wedding ceremony, just let me know if you have something particular in mind!

Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

A plug socket and some space (I've been squeezed in some quite small spaces over the years - so I'll probably fit!)

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

Yes, I'm completely self-contained, with lighting and PA. Available for large audiences or small audiences as required.

What information do you require about a venue?

I don't require much from a venue, just some space and access to power.

Just let me know the venue and I can contact if I need to know anything specific.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

I'm happy to play a playlist through my P.A before and between sets and of course you can provide your own playlist.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

Set up roughly 45 minutes for an average gig.

Are you happy to perform outside?

I'm happy to play outside, weather dependant of course.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

I have an extensive repertoire for you to choose from and I'm also happy to learn specific songs for your event, I usually limit this to three songs for most events. But you can always ask if you need more than this and I'll try to make it happen!

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

I'm a versatile performer with a particular skill for warm, gentle acoustic music - but I also love pulling out those upbeat numbers for the party lovers.
