I will need two power sockets near me.
I can provide an amplifier and/or DI box. if DI is used my amplifier can also double as my monitor, Or I have my own Wireless in-ear monitoring system,
I simply need to know the address and how the band will be amplified.
If required I can make a Spotify playlist to provide music while not playing.
I have played many fantastic gigs in all types of venues. Shady pubs, weddings, corporate events and even my friend's living room.
I love Paul Bender of Hiatus Kayote, Charles Mingus, and James Jameson. There are many more, but it is a very long list!
I performed my first "real" paid gig at age 16 with my little indie-pop group. Since then I have performed in orchestras, pop rock and jazz bands, and conducting youth ensembles.
I just like to play! Any gig with atmosphere or energy is great fun.
In my experience 1.5 hours is a good amount of time to set up and soundcheck. This accounts for most delays however unforeseen circumstances can lead to a longer setup time.
Yes, however if there is rain I will need to either move inside or have cover provided. There must be power nearby if you are asking me to play an electric instrument.
There is a degree of flexibility, but if there are many pieces to learn or some pieces are particularly complex then I will need a good amount of preparation time.
Many clients don't notice too much from bass guitar, unless I'm playing a funk groove or solo! As part of a group we have been described as "perfect", "incredible", "epic", "mesmerising", and other high praises.
