I bring a full 88 key digital pianos and PA system. The only requirements are access to a an electrical socket.
We provide a self contained PA system and can connect into existing PA systems too.
We provide some basic laser lights.
Just need to know where it is, and ensure there’s sufficient access for equipment.
Yes. We play tunes through the PA during sets to maintain the atmosphere. Happy to choose the tunes are let you choose.
I had a lot of fun playing in an exclusive VIP bar in Dublin where world famous musicians would often arrive late at night and join in on sing songs.
I love all types of music Too hard to choose a favourite. Elton John has been a big influence because of his piano playing, but I grew up on pop, grunge and indie so they always are features in my mixes.
I started playing whilst in Univesity in Dublin. I kicked off playing in restaurants - mild background music, then upgraded to pubs and late night bars. Since then have worked have covered nearly every type of venue, though I haven’t gotten a festival under my belt.
Anywhere where there is a good vibe.
The venue and the performance requirements normally influence the shape of the sets. For a short set I’m happy to play a straight hour set. For longer ones we’ll usually have a 5-10 minute break an hour to rest the voice. For late night session I’ll do a number of increasingly lively sets over the course of the evening.
Generally set-up takes about 25-30 minutes from arrival to kick off.
Yes. I do “Piano on the Patio” for birthday parties and events. Always goes down well.
Yes. The client always get a say in what is played. We can even co develop set lists or just agreevibe, some must haves and some don’ts. Generally its not an issue to learn specific songs.
I also have a great song request system. It works really well. Basically I put QR cards in menu stands around the venue that send guests directly to an 250 plus song list. Requested songs are queued and appear on my iPad. I can even share the list of songs that were chosen afterwards as a memory.
Fun and upbeat.
