Peter Pianist: After finishing at music college I embarked on a career as a professional pianist. At first I played in many bands in clubs, holiday camps etc but I then went on to establish a career as a solo pianist.

I have had a number of residencies at venues including Van Dyke's Hotel in Derbyshire, The Palm Sugar Cocktail Lounge in Liverpool One, The Plough Inn in Hathersage, The Merlin Hotel in Alderley Edge, The Book Cafe in Derby and The Ocean Treasure Restaurant in Manchester but I now work mainly as a freelance pianist although I still play for special occasions at Van Dyke's Hotel and The Hilton in Sheffield.

I have played for weddings, corporate events and parties at all the major venues throughout the Midlands and South Yorkshire. If the venue does not have a piano then I am able to provide my own state of the art Roland 700GX digital piano which I play through a Bose Compact PA which distributes sound uniformly throughout the room.
