I have been a professional accordionist for about 30 years playing French and Italian music, Klezmer and East European folk, Tango, classical/chamber music, hot club jazz and swing, Irish/British folk, free improvisation and theatre/film music.

I've taken my instrument to many different live performance settings from chamber music concerts to club gigs to background music in hotels or restaurants, hospital wards and foyers, ships, London Underground busking, sound installations. I've appeared or done soundtrack for movies e.g. Jude (Michael Winterbottom), Hugo Cabret (Martin Scorsese), Pan (Joe Wright), and theatre/opera e.g. Die Fledermaus, Fiddler on the Roof, Cyrano de Bergerac @ Royal National Theatre, Glasgow Opera House, Almeida Theatre. Recording/performance sessions include Hamza Namira (with Balkanatics), Music at Oxford concert series, Gilad Atzmon (jazz saxophonist).

I have a good track record of supplying private and corporate clients for weddings, birthday parties in venues or homes / care homes / pubs etc, shop openings/anniversaries, sea shanty parties for tourists, France v Wales Rugby hospitality (Cardiff, French client), RAF, Royal Navy and British Army Officers' mess, British Ambassador (Bucharest) and so on. Wedding venues around Oxford I have played at include Bodleian Library, Covered Market, Christchurch, Worcester College, etc.
