It's hard to select one gig or venue, generally I find that no matter the size of venue or audience, interaction with a great crowd can really make a gig special.
As a covers artist I am influenced by many different artists, I am partial to acoustic versions of heavier music and well known pop songs that would not typically get played. have a great love of the Foo Fighters, green day as well as George Michael and Scissor sisters.
As a song writer I am influenced by artists such as Frank Turner, Mumford and sons, Billy Rowan
Classically trained from the age of 10 on Saxophone, Oboe and vocals I transitioned to playing the guitar and popular music as I enjoyed playing music I listen to.
I began professionally gigging as a solo singing/guitarist in 2019 having been offered paid work following open mic appearance and have performed hundreds of times in pubs, clubs and restaurants, private events and weddings since.
Private parties/events are often my favourite type of event to play as they tend to be more interactive and receptive, with dancing and singing along.
Arrival: 1 hour before the performance
Yes happy to perform outside, covered performance area preferred in case of bad weather and power supply close to the performance area
If the client has a specific song they would like I can learn up to 3 for each event. the client is more than welcome to choose a set list from my repertoire or allow me to choose the music.
As an experienced performer I can easily adapt my set list on the fly to suit the audience and often satisfy requests by audience members.
