Timeless rock, pop, country and folk songs, played with love and authenticity.
Pembroke's performances are a journey through classic songs and styles. In one song he's growling through an old-timey microphone, in the next, singing sweetly through 4 octaves, accompanying himself playing harmonica on top of blazing guitar work.
It's all delivered with a fun and confident stage presence. Depending on your event, Pembroke can be quiet and sophisticated, or bring huge rock-and-roll energy to get everyone on their feet.
Pembroke currently plays weddings, festivals, pubs, clubs and private events full time. He has a full set-up of professional equipment for events of up to 400 people. He supplies background playlist music, lighting and a full sound rig as part of the service.
He has over 4 hours of material, a wide and varied set list - what you see below only scratches the surface! He's happy to learn songs as requests if you ask in advance, but please be aware this incurs an additional fee as learning songs to performance standard can take some time.
Pembroke has played for dozens of notable clients, plays internationally, and hold regular slots at highly reputed pubs & restaurants.
He has also been a BBC Introducing featured artist for his own original music.
He also performs as part of a harmony singing duo, a hard rock band, and a pop function band.

Yes! I have an excellent PA system. Two actually - one is for particularly large events or playing outside.
I provide lighting equipment.
I can supply additional microphones if people want to make speeches with my system, or join me for a song.
All my equipment is fully tested and insured.
Directions, parking situation and if there is a sound limiter (unlikely to be an issue, but I'd rather not be surprised).
Yes, I provide this service. I have my own playlists or you are welcome to make you own and send it to me.
I will get it downloaded in advance to avoid problems with internet/signal.
Best venue? I've played the O2 Arena main stage as a solo act in front of thousands. Felt a little small though, in that big space!
Best gig? My band was flown to Italy to play a wedding in a historic hilltop fort. For two days they plied us with whisky and stories, we played music and everyone became fast friends.
Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, Bowie. Amazing musicianship sure, but one thing they all had in common was great, truly great songwriting.
Greatest song? I'll say Kashmir by Led Zeppelin. The swirling guitars, the odd time signature, the eastern scales and dreamy lyrics always take me on a special journey.
I played House of the Rising Sun at an open mic when I was a teenager. I was terrified.
For some reason I kept doing it until it became my life.
Weddings are wonderful. I am often booked to play ceremonies; each one is very special and intimate. It's an honour to play them.
I perform with a guitar, vocals and harmonica. I can also play piano if requested.
Set up is roughly 45 minutes.
Set times are typically 45 minutes to an hour.
Yes, as long as I have some protection from sun and rain.
You have some say, of course! I want to perform as much of the music you love as I can.
I ask that you choose 10-20 of your favourites and I promise to play as many as I can.
My wedding clients often say I made their day. I'm very proud of that.
I have lots of reviews on my page - you can read their praise in their own words :)
