Astella formed in 2010, specialising in being a high quality wedding and function band. The band consists of full-time professional musicians that have worked alongside the likes of Rachel Stevens, McFly, Girls Aloud, Sugababes, The Scorpions, Billie Cobham, The Specials and Robert Plant, to name a few. Members of the band have also taken part in extensive US and European tours and have played in venues such as the Shepherds Bush Empire, the Amsterdam Arena and the Ricoh Arena. They won "Wedding Band Of The Year" in 2010 and 2012, awarded by My Quirky Little Wedding Fair.
They have also performed for the BBC, ITV and Radio 1. As the band is made up of working session musicians, there is a good chance you've already listened to some of the members perform on the radio or television!
Astella will make any event a memorable one, with a repertoire full of modern and party classics. Covering songs from Dua Lipa, Adele and Bruno Mars to Aretha Franklin, Van Halen and The Doobie Brothers, the dance floor is guaranteed to be full from start to finish. Astella have an extensive and versatile set list to suit a varied audience on any occasion.
Astella are available as a 6-piece band up to an 8-piece. They also offer an acoustic Duo, Jazz Duo, Chilled acoustic trio or quartet so all your musical needs are covered!
