Matilda is a Spanish/Irish singer-songwriter, vocalist, and producer with over a decade of experience in the music industry.
With over five years performing as a one-woman band, and 10 years performing, Matilda effortlessly blends covers and originals, tailoring her sets to any occasion—whether it's easy-listening dinner music or high-energy party tunes. Using her vocal harmonisers and a stomp box, she creates a rich, engaging sound that stands out at any event. Holding a Bachelor's in Music Performance and a Master's in Songwriting, Matilda combines technical expertise with her skills, to deliver unforgettable performances.
Her career highlights include supporting Spanish indie rock band Enkore on their UK tour and performing at iconic venues such as the Electric Ballroom, Notting Hill Arts Club, The Bedford, and making her way around the local London festival scene. She has also wowed audiences on platforms like Anderton Live Sessions and Glamour's Who Sang My Song, where her soulful rendition of a Ryan Tedder track earned praise from the star himself.

I started gigging at 16 years old in the local bar, restaurant and hotel scene in Spain, where I grew up. Then I moved to London and completed a degree in Contemporary music performance specialising in Vocals. Since then I have been performing all around London and the UK as my self-contained one woman band.
I love playing at all sorts of events but birthday parties are one of my favourites! The guests are always happy and it’s easy to get them dancing.
I normally arrive 45min before the performance time and set up in 15 -20 minutes giving me some time for a soundcheck and to make sure all the levels are good. Clients normally book 2x45 minutes sets which covers 2 hours of music with a break in between.
Yes as I have a battery powered amp.
The clients are welcome to pick a set list from my repertoire or let me choose the music for them, or I can learn a specific song if I am told with at least 1 week's notice.
Previous clients have said I provide crowd pleasing covers with a soulful voice and high energy as well as easy listening music for a relaxed dining experience or a romantic occasion.
