Performance space: We require a space of at least 2 meters x 2 meters to comfortably set up the piano and sound equipment.
Power: We need 1 x 13-amp power socket near the performance area.
Yes, we are self-contained and provide our own PA system for all gigs. However, we do not provide lighting equipment but can advise on lighting requirements if needed.
We would need to know:
Any specific directions to locate the venue and where to load in our equipment.
If there are any sound limiters or restrictions in the venue.
Details on the layout of the venue, particularly where we will be performing.
Yes, we can provide a Spotify/DJ service to play music before and between our sets to maintain the atmosphere throughout the event.
A beautifully intimate jazz club with excellent acoustics and a warm atmosphere. It was the kind of place where you could hear every nuance of the performance, and the close proximity to the audience made the experience feel very personal and special.
We draw inspiration from a wide range of artists, but Nina Simone, Bill Withers, and Stevie Wonder have had a significant influence on our sound. If we had to pick a favorite artist, it would be Ella Fitzgerald for her timeless vocals and grace. The greatest song of all time for us is "At Last" by Etta James—its emotional depth and beautiful arrangement never fail to captivate.
We both started performing on the London live musi circuit, playing at local bars and small events. As our chemistry developed, we began to get more recognition, leading to bookings at weddings, corporate events, and restaurants across the UK. Our duo has now played venues from Selfridges to small private parties in intimate cocktail bars, and we continue to grow our repertoire and client base, performing regularly in London and beyond.
While we love performing at all kinds of events, private parties and weddings are our favorites. There’s something special about being part of such a personal and joyous occasion, and we enjoy tailoring our performances to match the unique vibe of each celebration.
We usually arrive about 1 hour before the performance to set up and soundcheck. Our standard performance is 2-3 x 45-minute sets, though we can adjust this to 2 x 60-minute sets or longer if needed. We find that these set times work best for maintaining energy and keeping the audience engaged.”
We’re happy to perform outside, provided we have shade, a flat level surface, and a nearby power supply. This ensures the best sound quality and a comfortable experience for both the performers and the audience.
We can accommodate requests for specific songs and generally limit this to 5 songs. Clients can also choose their own set list from our extensive repertoire or allow us to curate a set list tailored to the occasion.
Previous clients often describe our performances as engaging, versatile, and having a unique blend of vintage and contemporary vibes. They appreciate our ability to adapt to different settings and create a memorable atmosphere.
