I have 2 musical passions:
1. I sing famous songs to my own handcrafted arrangements played on my mandolin. I sing and play from memory so I can fully connect with the audience. Sometimes I perform raw and unplugged, other times I'll use my own backing tracks to enrich the sound.
I have performed live hundreds of times and the audience appreciates and engages with the fact that I'm not just another guy stood up strumming a guitar... I'm creating a unique re-imagination of songs we all love and performing them with the haunting and beautiful sound of the octave mandolin.
My catalogue includes songs by Sting, Bon Jovi, U2, José Gonzalez, Gerry Rafferty, Oasis, Coldplay etc etc. I also have a steadily increasing number of Celtic tunes.
2. I also have a repertoire of classical and Celtic instrumentals which I play on my mandolin. This is perfect for any occasion that warrants a cultured or chill vibe of harmonious instrumental acoustic music. The mandolin is an exotic alternative to a classical guitar, harpist or piano player.
