Performing at hundreds of weddings and events throughout the South West and further afield around the UK, Meghan Rae is the wedding singer you’ve been dreaming of. From romantic goosebump moments in the ceremony, live-lounge vibes during your wedding day drinks and right up to the evening party to fill that dance floor!
A personal hello...
Welcome! I’m Meghan Rae and have had a huge passion for music since a very young age. Music is such a powerful thing and I believe it truly brings people together. I pride myself on bringing your favourite songs to life with heartfelt meaning and specialise in acoustic pop, country, ballads and musical theatre.
I have experienced a fantastic range of performance settings from intimate weddings, private family events, to pubs/clubs, local theatres and even performed live at the O2 Indigo Arena in London!
I’m so lucky to live in a beautiful coastal town in Torbay (Devon, UK) and predominately perform in the South West, however, I can travel wherever you may need me to be!

I mostly use a battery operated sound system for easy set up however, I will need access to mains electricity throughout the day. I carry long extensions cables with me to every gig so the sockets don’t need to be directly near the stage/performance area. Space wise, I only need a small area to perform - 2m sq minimum. Packing down takes approx. 30 mins after I have performed your final song. Parking for 1x small vehicle close to the venue must be provided.

Speaker options: Yamaha Stagepas 1K tower unit / Yamaha Stagepas 200btr battery operated unit / 2x Yamaha DBR12s
Lighting options for evening parties: 1x Upstand unit & 2x Multicolour uplighter units
1) What time can I access the venue for set up? I aim to arrive 2hrs ahead of the performance start time to soundcheck
2) Access to the venue? Are there restrictions with accessing / unloading directly outside the venue?
3) Is an allocated parking space available? Parking near to the venue entrance is essential
4) Who is your event coordinator on site? I will need contact details to send insurances / discuss order of the day
5) Are there sound restrictions at the venue? I perform with an amplified sound system and mic so if your venue does not permit amplified outdoor music, your venue will disallow my performance.
5) Are there sound limiters inside the venue? Do I need to link up to the internal sound system at the venue? Ideally, I perform independently with my own speaker system so that I am fully in control of sound levels / locations
I can provide a Spotify playlist during breaks for background music. You're welcome to use my pre-made playlists or you can share your playlists direct with my account.
I arrive to a venue 2hrs prior to the performance start time to get set up / soundchecked.
My ceremony package includes a 20 min guest arrival set and the ceremony usually lasts 20-30 mins.
Drinks receptions / wedding breakfasts are a 2hr set.
Cocktail hour is a 1hr set.
Evening party (pre-dj/band) including your first dance is a 1hr set.
Parties / restaurant bookings are often 2x 45 min sets or 3x 45 min sets where I play background mp3 music during my breaks.
I love to play outdoors, especially for your drinks receptions / cocktail hours or parties! Shelter (a parasol/umbrella) must be provided by the hirer in the event there is extreme weather. My sound system cannot withstand extreme direct heat for long periods. In the event of rainfall, I cannot perform outside. This is to again protect my sound system from the weather conditions. A flat, level surface is required (ideally patio but I can work with grass) and although I do not require power whilst I use my battery operated system, if power is close by, that would be a bonus!
I can absolutely learn & include your special song requests on the day. All my tracks are bespokely made so to cover the music production & my rehearsal time, there is an additional fee of £25.00 per requested song.
