A native of Ohio, all-American songbird Meg Cavanaugh dug deep in her formative years into the Great American Song Book and the peerless singers of jazz's golden age. Mixing these influences with some classic country and blues she arrived at her very own take on what great songs should sound like.
Her husky tones and disarming presence have been gracing stages big and small in the UK and Europe for nearly a decade, whether playing to packed houses singing with the band in smash hit London show The Drowned Man (PunchDrunk), leading her combos at hipster speakeasies or underground parties in her adopted home of Hackney, or touring the large auditoriums singing with acts such as Matt Bianco. Meg is a sure fire hit for any occasion.
