John Lennon Live
Phill Marshall is by far the best John Lennon Tribute in Britain. He is famous for his likeness with Lennon himself and his "electrifying" performances. It’s like watching John Lennon himself coming back to life. You shut your eyes and can hear John then you open your eyes and bang, he’s there. The voice, the mannerisms and John Lennon’s wit all in one. He does shows with a mix of pre-recorded backing tracks and fully acoustic numbers playing all the Beatles top hit songs and also Lennon’s solo career most famous numbers. Audiences in Britain have been mesmerised by his performances.
Now Phill also formed The Plastic Memory Band and have done numerous shows with a full backing band in my pub The Cavern Freehouse, and he never fails to attract a crowd, best Lennon I’ve ever seen and I should know, I met John himself back in the day in Liverpool but that’s another story.

Usual comment: “It’s like watching John Lennon himself, if you close your eyes you can hear the songs like a record and when you open your eyes John Lennon himself is there singing and playing live, absolutely incredible, and his energy just gets everyone singing and dancing almost throughout the show, absolutely amazing!”
