Laura has a range of popular covers and originals, ready to add something special to any event. She began learning guitar at the age of 14 and was determined to make a living doing what she loved.
After studying for qualifications in music performance and technology, she decided to quit her job and pursue a music career full-time. In 2021, Laura debuted two cover tracks on ITV amassing over 50,000 streams. She has also performed internationally, taking her music to gigs in Amsterdam, Norway and even South Korea.
More local to home, Laura has also played in both of London's Hard Rock Cafe locations, The Theatre Cafe, Royal Sandhurst Academy, Silverstone Hospitality and the Twickenham Rugby Hospitality areas. She has been playing weddings and private events since around 2019 and never tires of being part of so many special events and incredible weddings with amazing couples.

Power
I have a smaller battery-powered PA.
For each venue, I need to know if they have a place to park and access to mains power.
However, if the event is required to be outdoors I have a smaller battery-powered PA that I can use!
I can provide a playlist between sets.
I have a very small set up, so I need around 20 minutes maximum to set up; with about a 2mx2m area to set up in. However, I always arrive around 45 minutes earlier than my start time to make sure everything is ready to go!
Primarily, I will need two plug sockets and a place to park!
Also, ideally someone in the venue on hand to let me know where is preferred for me to set up (especially important for weddings as I never want to disturb the couple!)
In addition, if there is a problem with internet coverage at your venue, a WiFi connection/password will be needed!
The best gig I've ever done may be a Songwriters round at Bar Topolski's in London. It was such an intimate event with only 20-30 people in the room but every single person was listening intently.
However, my favourite gigs to play are the Hard Rock locations in London! I started playing there on April 23 & each time I've played there I've loved it more and more! The audience is so kind and it's such a pleasure to play in such prestigious venues!
I have been influenced by a lot of artists over my time as a professional musician! First was Ed Sheeran who inspired me to pick up a guitar at the age of 14, but then expanded to Tori Kelly, Noah Kahan, Maisie Peters, Sam Fender and a lot from the world of musical theatre! I love covering popular songs but I feel a large percentage of it comes from understanding the story behind the song!
My current favourite artist is probably Noah Kahan but it changes all the time!
My previous gigging experience has mainly been weddings this year. I have totalled 20 in 2023 and have a number booked for 24!
In the past, I have also played funerals, birthday parties, christenings, and celebrations of life, in shops, Christmas markets, corporate events, pubs, functions, baby showers and even Silverstone Grand Prix in the hospitality suites.
I started gigging through people seeing me busk & taking cards; which is how I still get a lot of my opportunities!
Undoubtedly, my favourite events to play are wedding receptions and ceremonies. Although they are a lot of pressure, I always leave overwhelmed with the sense of joy in the room! Providing the right atmosphere for so many special days is my pleasure.
Can set up within around 20 minutes maximum; equipment takes very minimal space.
Always happy to play outside! (Exception being if it is raining, the winds are higher than 15mph or it is below 5 degrees)
I'm always happy for clients to select songs for my repertoire for me to play; or happy to print out a list for people to pick from! I have occasionally played requests from outside of my rep but only do if I'm already very familiar with the song.
Past clients have described my performance as ‘beautiful’, ‘created a fantastic atmosphere’ and ‘couldn’t have asked for a better singer’.
Of course you can! This is always helpful for me as I love to know that you have hand selected your songs!
For reference, I usually play 17-19 songs in 1 45 minute set.
