Yes, I am completely self contained. I have a High Quality PA system, Up-lighters and simple lighting bars. I also have a fog machine available.
I'd like to know full directions to the venue if the venue is difficult to find.
If there are any stairs to the performance space.
How far it is to walk with the equipment if at all.
Yes, I am happy to provide a DJ service before and between the sets.
This is a difficult question as I've played many gigs that have meant a lot.
I performed for The Marley (Bob) Family for a launch event they did many years ago which was compered by David Rodigan.
I've most recently played the Isle of Wight Festival too, which is was incredible.
I've always been so independent and I guess stubborn with my style as I've always wanted to be unique with my sound and loyal to who I really am as a person. However, I've always loved unique bands/artists like Bonobo and a band called Shred Kelly. I also love Becky Hill. I love her style and her voice is just out of this world. I can't simply choose a greatest song of all time! There are too many works of arts out there!
I've been performing since I was tiny. I've always walked the performance path, I went to performing arts school and studying Commercial Music at University too. I started professionally gigging when I was 15 with a friend of family who was a guitarist, he used to take me to bars to sing live - it was a great experience. Then when I went to Uni, I joined a reggae band and created some of the most incredible memories with them, they were my family. In 2015 I moved over seas and worked as a show performer and played my saxophone and sang in Hotels and Bars, once I did that for a few years I moved back to the UK and started on the Scottish music scene as a saxophonist! I've had so much experience performing for different nationalities and ages over different events, like white parties, tropical parties, Spanish events, chill bars, weddings, birthdays, hen parties - I've done, I think, most of it...and I still love it!
I love playing all types of events but I think hen parties, they're so much fun!
I have the following sets:
- Dance/Party Set
- 'Night-Out with LeoSax' - This is Lofi/Ambient Chill Sax/DJ Set suitable for cocktail/gin bars or tranquil atmosphere.
- Funky/Soulful House
- Jazz-House
- Wedding Set (Classic Wedding Songs)
For Party Sets: I usually arrive an hour to an hour and half before the event.
half hour to 45 minutes if I'm working with a pre-booked DJ.
I usually perform 45 minutes to an hour for an evening wedding performance.
I am able to perform up to 4x 45 minute sets with my DJ.
Chill Sets: I can perform up to 4x 45 minute sets.
Yes as long as I have cover from the rain or too much sun! Flat surface for my speakers and a power supply.
I have a set list prepared already, however, I'm always happy to take suggestions - within reason and time.
