Yes, we’re completely self contained. We bring our own PA system to all of our gigs as well as a lighting rig.
We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue.
Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify between our sets. We do provide a full DJ service as an add on.
We are very flexible as a duo, band or when it comes to extras, so if you have any special requests let us know and we can very easily alter & increase the band line up accordingly at an additional fee. Generally speaking, our line ups are below:
Solo - 1 x Female Vocals with Tracks
Duo - 1 X female vocals, 1 x male backing vocals, guitar, sax or keys with Tracks
Trio - 1 X female vocals, 1 x male backing vocals, guitar, sax or keys with Tracks
Kiki and The Noughtie Boys (4 Piece Band) – 1 x female vocals, 1 x male backing vocal, guitar, bass, drums
Extras that can be added:

6 Piece Band – 1 x female vocals, 1 x male backing vocal, guitar, bass, drums, keys and sax
We can add extra instrumentalists along with strings if required.
Please enquire about bigger line ups if space and budget allow.
We won’t beat around the bush – sound limiters are difficult.
Generally speaking, they read bass frequencies above everything else which usually means the rest of the band can be relatively loud but as soon as the bass guitar and bass drum kicks in (which is what gets people dancing!), the power is likely to cut at incredibly low volumes. This is not an ideal world, and as more and more venues are installing these limiters due to council restrictions, we have played at a multitude of venues with sound limiters. They vary hugely system to system so not all are as bad as another. You’ll just have to be prepared for quite a bit of drop in volume.
Burnley Business Awards at Crow Wood Spa and Hotel with over 600 guests. It was amazing to entertain at such a prestigious event and venue with such high energy guests.
There are so many but Prince with his iconic pop and dance music have always been a crowd favourite, and we love incorporating his and similar music into our sets.
We started gigging whilst Kiki was at college and university and our performances developed from there. Since we started we’ve performed at hundreds of weddings, parties and events across the UK and beyond
We love playing at all sorts of events but weddings are our favourite! The guests are always happy and it’s easy to get them dancing.
Set up time: It takes 90 minutes to set up once the gear is all loaded in. Packing down takes about 45 minutes to an hour
Standard time finish: before midnight unless arranged beforehand
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.
We can learn specific songs before the event but we usually limit this as we do medley our music within our sets. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them
