I recently played at the southbank centre with a 6 piece band, incredible energy and an amazing opportunity to play at an awesome venue!
One of my all time favourites would be Paul Simon, I'm a huge fan of his songs and his lyrics. They always tell a great story, which inspires me to create music around my own experiences.
I started gigging at age 18, i was extremely nervous to perform three songs at my local open mic. I barely got through it after forgetting half the lyrics to the second song, but we've all got to start somewhere. I'm now 28 and have performed countless amount gigs throughout the uk and even some in europe, building a stronger and more confident performance every step of the way.! from solo acoustic gigs to wedding full bands.
Weddings and festivals have to be the best ones for me.
I will arrive 45 mins before the performance, and normally perform 2 x 45min or 2x 60 min sets
I would be happy to play outside but i ask for shade, and cover for the area with a power supply near the performance area.
I have a set repertoire, but i can modify the set and possible learn new songs before gigs with enough warning.
