Jon Hickman is a highly experienced singer and pianist who entertains and delights at weddings, private parties, and corporate events. With a beautifully soulful voice and piano skills to match, Jon's performances have become the highlight of many an occasion.
Having performed in function bands from a very early age, Jon has wealth of experience to draw from. He has played in swing bands, sung in choirs, fronted wedding function bands and still regularly composes music for a range of purposes.
Jon can perform in a variety of styles and purposes. If you require soft, sophisticated background music with delicate soulful vocals, or an upbeat, energy driven performance to get the party started (or both) Jon is able to taylor his song choice, performance style, and music volume to perfectly suit your occasion. Jon will also happily learn a song or two of your choice for free, and has performed for countless first dances.
Timings
The most common booking is for 2x45 minutes but other options are 2x60, 3x45, 3x40 or 2x30. Please make an enquiry to discuss what is best for your event.
Jon requires 45 minutes to set up his equipment and will usually arrive at least an hour before the performance start time.
Equipment
Jon uses the highest quality equipment and as a result his performances sound excellent. Jon will always take his digital stage piano and compact PA with him, and if your venue already has a piano that is in good condition, Jon is willing to play this at his discretion.
All of Jon's equipment is PAT tested and he has up to £10 million of public liability insurance cover.
