Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever played at?

I always love playing at herston campsite. Such a great crowd and always so much fun

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

Queen, Mika, elvis, mcfly, Robbie Willams

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

My musical journey began in school, where I helped form the band One Word. We spent many years gigging at various venues and festivals, performing lively party and cover sets alongside our original music. One of our proudest achievements was releasing our EP, Alpha, which showcased our creativity and hard work.

After my time with One Word, I formed a duo called Genes with my dad. Together, we performed using backing tracks and played a variety of instruments, including electric and acoustic guitars, keyboards, synth, and saxophone. This project allowed us to explore our musical versatility and create unique performances.

Later, we expanded the duo into a trio by bringing my mum on board as a vocalist, and we became known as The Covenants. With this lineup, we performed a range of party sets and popular covers at a number of gigs, adding a new dynamic to our music.

Now, I’m focusing on my solo career as a vocalist and acoustic guitarist. I use looping and guitar effects

What's your favourite type of event to play at?

I love playing q variety of different events but private parties are always great cause can really get to know the audience and help people have the best time.
