I performed at Ridge Farm in Surrey which in the 70's used to be the infamous studio where the likes of Queen, Oasis and Ozzy Osbourne visited for writing and recording albums!
From a very young age I've always loved ballads. My dad's music taste has massively influenced mine with songs from the 50s, 60s and 70s in pop and rock. I worked with musicals and the old jazz standards and unknowingly discovered country music in my teens. This grew in to a big part of my music identity in my 20s. I can now cover various genres that span the decades and suit a wide range of musical tastes.
Music has been a huge part of my life since I was a child, playing piano and guitar. I have performed in several musicals and dance shows and completed a BA Hons degree in Voice and Performance. Performing with function bands for 5 years and singing as a solo or duo at pervious birthdays, weddings and pub events throughout Essex, Surrey, Kent and Sussex.
I love performing at all sorts of events as you get to change the songs that suit the style. I have to say though weddings are my favourite as everyone is in a wonderful happy mood and they are all there to celebrate and have an incredible time. Getting to celebrate with you all and helping to make the day magical is a great feeling!
I would normally perform for either 1 hour or 2x45 minutes with a small break in between, however this can be tailored to the requirements of your day. I would usually arrive 1-1.5 hours before hand to set up and sound check and normally 30mins to pack down.
Yes - all that is required is access to a power socket (I have extension cables) and cover from sun/rain.
Clients are welcome to choose songs from my set list or we can work together. Once I get a feel for the vibe and atmosphere you want to create I can choose songs to bring this vision to life. I am able to learn a a few special songs if these are not within my repertoire.
