Jess Hughes is professional saxophonist available to hire for weddings, parties, baby showers, hen parties, christenings, dinner parties, garden parties, festivals/fetes, restaurants/bars/clubs and corporate events. Whether you require somebody to provide background music or a main event performance, Jess will work with you to provide the perfect touch to your event. Jess has her own professional p.a system but if you are hiring a DJ or sound technician she can also plug into their system.
Jess can play a range of musical styles from light jazz and easy listening to retro pop (70s 80s 90s) right through to current chart house hits and Ibiza style. For wedding ceremonies etc Jess can also perform romantic love songs/disney/film tunes etc. For any event Jess will work with you choose music from her extensive repertoire but is also happy to take on a few of your own personal requests for no extra cost.
Weddings
Jess specialises in wedding performances as she is able to offer a wide range of music for your special day. She is happy to just perform at one part of your wedding or she can provide a package. As well as saxophone with backing tracks, she is also able to offer piano. Options available:
Wedding Ceremony: solo saxophone with backing tracks (or piano). Jess will create a beautiful atmosphere for your guests arrival, bride (or groom)'s arrival, signing of the register if applicable and exit song. Requests for any of these parts can be made for no extra cost. Example repertoire:
Drinks Ceremony / Wedding Breakfast: Saxophone with backing tracks (or piano). Jess will work with you to create your desired ambience for your drinks reception and or wedding breakfast. She can create a traditional sophisticated atmosphere with light jazz and easy listening tracks/retro pop or play more modern chart/Ibiza style hits which have become increasingly popular. A mixture of all styles also works really well.
Evening Party: Saxophone with backing tracks. Jess can entertain your evening guests and get people up on to the dancefloor. She would usually play either one hour set or 2 x 45 min sets and often she can co-ordinate with a DJ if desired but also can be self sufficient with own P.A system.
