Jessica is a very accomplished harpist and plays for weddings and events, solo concerts and with orchestras. She has grade 8 distinction and attained a BMus degree at Cardiff University. She studied harp with Sarah Deere-Jones, Ruth Faber and Valerie Aldrich-Smith and whilst at Cardiff University, took part in various masterclasses at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Her performance experience has included playing at City Hall, Cardiff for the Royal Society of Engineering, where Princess Anne was present. She has performed at a variety of prestigious venues such as the Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff Castle and St. David's Hall, Cardiff. She has toured with Orchestras over the UK, France and Germany and with the Harper's Bizarre ensemble in Seattle.
Jessica is a versitile musician and covers a range of musical genres including Classical, Jazz, Traditional, Folk and Modern/Pop. She is able to arrange modern/pop songs as requested by clients and is able to tailor the repertoire to the client's musical tastes.
She provides individual lessons on folk and concert harp and in groups on lap harps. Her students are encouraged to take exams through ABRSM.
Based in Somerset but also covers Dorset, East Devon, Bath and Bristol.
