Hi! I’m a professional cellist, ready and waiting to perform your dream wedding music, worldwide. I can provide beautiful music for your guests as they arrive, your wedding ceremony, drinks receptions, wedding breakfasts and your first dance! For certain events, I can provide background or interim music, perfectly suited to your event. I provide solo acoustic cello, and I can also provide elctroacoustic cello with backing track accompaniment
I perform the favourite and tradtional classics; pop songs from over the decades; plenty of TV and film favourites, beautiful church hymns, and film and theatre favourites – there are no limits! I have also incorporated music from different cultures, including Bollywood, Polish, AfroBeats, and more. I can arrange special requests of your favourite pieces of music and can sight-read and improvise fluently. I will happily transcribe special additional requests for solo cello, if it's not already in my music library.
I have played cello for 30+ years, performing with countless orchestras and ensembles around the whole of the UK. I also travel internationally to perform with my cello, including the USA, the Caribbean, the Channel Islands, and much of Europe. Away from orchestras, I've been invited as backing strings for numerous musicians for professional recordings and live performances, have provided music for promo sessions, wedding shows, the BBC, Netflix, Heart Radio, and various artists such as Alicia Keys, Akash Odedra, Amanda Holden, Ebony Bones, Bonaventura Bottone, Tiana Major9, and more.
I have an MA Degree in Performance (with distinction), and to maintain an excellent standard of playing, I currently study under award-winning cellist Richard Jenkinson, with additional lessons from tutors at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
My primary cello is a beautiful English cello aged approx 200 years old called Sid, and he's lush. My second cello is set up for elctroacoustic performances, and is a beautiful 20 year old hand made cello. I travel worldwide, and can perform for as little or as long as you need. Very importantly, I am fully insured with Public Liability insurance which covers me for venues worldwide.

I think the best gig would be playing for Alicia Keys as part of Queen Charlotte Orchestra for Bridgerton. A close second would be performing for UK Olympic Team GB at their private Celebration Ball and Dinner. So proud! Not sure I could name my best venue though, they're all usually pretty amazing since I get to travel the world!
I'm most influenced by other performers, as I love to see what different genres of music they're taking and turning it into something new.
I've been playing the cello since I was 6, and have been passionate about music since I was 4! (I used to walk around my home pretending to play the violin or trumpet on any household objects I could find, hah!)
First and foremost, it's weddings since it's such a gorgeous event, and I'm a big soft romantic. Closely followed by gigs as part of backing strings - that's such a vibe on stage and I love that we really get to let go and enjoy the music.

I can perform from guests arriving, the ceremony, drinks reception, and wedding breakfast, and am happy to receive a special request for your first dance if required.
Happy to perform outside; please ensure that there is some sort of shelter to protect from rain and direct sunlight.
All clients can choose whatever they like from my music library (which is ALWAYS growing!) and you can make a limited number of special requests which I can transcribe and learn before the big day.
