James Elliot Quinn is a pianist, improviser and composer/arranger based in Brixton, South London. His sound is most heavily inspired by modern jazz and romanticism, combining Chopin-esque technique into jazz repertoire to feature sensitive harmonies and diverse reimaginings of traditional jazz standards.
James is available for events of all kinds, as either a solo pianist or with the option to add additional instrumentalists, vocalists or a full band. He performs regularly at function and corporate events, having recently worked with The National Theatre, Neal Street Productions, Big Bus Tours ltd. and has a monthly residency at The Four Seasons, Ten Trinity Square.
He is an active player in the live London scene, having performed at venues such as Ronnie’s Bar - Ronnie Scotts, The Four Seasons Hotel, Larry's Bar -The National Portrait Gallery, The Crypt - St Martin-in-the-fields, The Rudolf Steiner Theatre, Hootananny Brixton, The Jago, Gerry’s Club - Soho and many more including festivals further afield.

Yes, music can be played before, between and after sets. The playlist can be selected for the client or by the client.
James performed with his trio for West End stars, theatre producers, actors, artists and more at the official afterparty for the hit play "The Motive and the Cue" by The National Theatre and Neal Street Productions founded by Sam Mendes.
Starting package is 2x45 minute sets, including set up/down times, with the option to add additional sets

Yes however a power supply close to the performance area will be required and shade is necessary during the summer months.
Clients are welcome to select the songs from the repertoire list provided if they would like, or they can opt to have the choice made for them which will be done so depending on the event.
2 additional specific songs can be requested to be learnt ahead of the event (for example something personal for a first dance) however plenty of notice is required otherwise this can not be guaranteed.
