As a five-piece party band, we have a few basic technical requirements to ensure our performance runs smoothly:
Stage Area: We need a stage area of at least 5m x 3m to comfortably fit the band, instruments, and equipment.
Power Supply: A minimum of 3-4 separate 13-amp power sockets near the stage is essential to power our equipment, including instruments, PA system, and lighting.
Access for Load-In/Load-Out: We require easy access to the stage area for setting up and packing down our gear. Ideally, this means close proximity parking and a clear route from the vehicle to the performance space.
es, we provide all necessary sound and lighting equipment as part of our service:
PA System: We supply a high-quality PA system suitable for venues of various sizes, ensuring clear and balanced sound.
Lighting: We bring our own professional lighting setup to create the right atmosphere on the dance floor and stage. This includes stage lighting and dance floor effects lighting.
To ensure everything runs smoothly, we ask for the following details about the venue:
Venue Size and Layout: Knowing the size and layout helps us plan the best setup for sound and lighting. A floor plan can be very helpful.
Power Availability: Information on the number and location of power sockets near the performance area.
Load-In Access: Details about the easiest way to load our equipment into the venue, including parking arrangements.
Noise Restrictions: Any noise limits or curfews that might impact our performance.
Contact Person: A contact person at the venue, in case we need to coordinate setup or address any issues on the day of the event.
Yes, we can absolutely provide a Spotify or DJ service before, between, and after our sets to keep the energy flowing throughout the event. We have a large playlist of crowd-pleasers and can also take requests to tailor the music to your event. This service ensures there's no awkward silence and the party atmosphere is maintained throughout.
The best gig we've ever done was a New Year's Eve event at a stunning manor house in the Cotswolds. The atmosphere was electric, with a full crowd dancing and singing along all night. The highlight was the countdown to midnight, where we played a high-energy medley that had everyone on their feet.
There are too many to choose from but check out our repertoire list to see what we enjoy performing.
Our journey started like many others—friends jamming together in garages and small pubs. Over time, we honed our craft, played at local festivals, and started getting noticed for our energetic performances and tight sound. After a few years, we decided to go full-time and haven’t looked back since. We've now got years of experience playing weddings, corporate events, festivals, and private parties across the UK.
We love playing at all types of events, but our favorite has to be weddings. There's something special about being part of such a significant day in people’s lives. The energy is always positive, and the dance floor is packed with guests of all ages having the time of their lives. We love tailoring our set to each couple's tastes, creating unforgettable moments that they and their guests will remember forever. Plus, there’s nothing like a good wedding sing-along!
Our typical setup time is around 1 hour and 15 minutes. This allows us to get everything ready, including sound checks, lighting setup, and making sure everything is perfect for your event. When it comes to performance times, we usually offer two options:
2 x 60-minute sets or
3 x 40-minute sets
These timings provide a good balance of live music and breaks, keeping the energy up throughout the event.
Yes, we're more than happy to perform outside! We love the vibe of outdoor events, whether it's a summer wedding, festival, or a garden party. We do have a few practical considerations, though:
Shelter: We request some form of cover or shelter to protect our equipment from the elements, whether it's rain or intense sun.
Power Supply: Access to a reliable power source is crucial, just like for indoor performances.
Weather Contingency: In case of bad weather, it’s always good to have a backup plan, like an indoor space or marquee.
Absolutely! We believe that the music should reflect your tastes and the vibe you want for your event. While we have a well-rehearsed repertoire of crowd-pleasers that work well for most events, we're always happy to take your preferences into account.
Our previous clients often describe our performances as:
Energetic and Engaging: We pride ourselves on getting the crowd involved and creating a fun, lively atmosphere that keeps the dance floor packed.
Professional and Polished: We’re often praised for our tight musicianship, smooth transitions between songs, and seamless coordination throughout the event.
Versatile and Crowd-Pleasing: Clients appreciate our ability to cater to diverse tastes, seamlessly blending classics with modern hits that appeal to all ages.
Memorable and Fun: Many clients have told us that we were the highlight of their event, with guests still talking about our performance long after the night is over.
Each event is totally unique but we are happy to work with you as a client to go through your event and give our advice to help make sure its the best!
