The Hope Street Busking Band are a group of lifelong friends, who have been playing together in various forms for 15 years. Starting out busking on the streets of Liverpool, the band quickly garnered attention from passers by and before long were taking bookings for events all over the country.
A decade has since past and The Hope Street Busking Band have grown into a well loved and trusted name in the functions scene, having played together in countries as far flung as Italy, Russia, Thailand, and even The Gambia.
What really makes this band a stand out is their unique mix of talent, humour and heart. Great friends working as a tight unit that never miss a beat, the boys are guaranteed to bring a warm family atmosphere and an experience you'll never forget.
In their time performing together the band have featured on the BBC's Children in Need, the Simon Mayo show and supported the band Morcheeba with their original music. A group of absolute processionals, the band also has their own full time bookings manager and customer liaison, meaning every experience is tailor made to you and packed full of personal details. As well as a full band dance floor filling party atmosphere, the band can provide stripped back afternoon perfomances, relaxed background music and even an after hours DJ service.

The band supply their own musical equipment and PA system- we just need a power source and we're good to go!
We provide a PA system, mixing desk and amps, mics, mic stands and musical instruments
We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue.
We can provide a Spotify DJ service between sets free of charge. We can also provide a DJ service post live sets at a small additional cost .
The band will arrive a minimum 1 hour ahead of their scheduled performance time to set up and sound check.
Performances start from 30 minutes and run to a full day.
Yes we are happy to perform outside undercover or near shade. We need a flat surface with a power supply close to the performance area.
We invite clients to choose from our existing repertoire but are always happy to learn a couple of requests. We will build the setlist around your tastes.
