Hog Wild play a mix of rock'n'roll from the 50's, early 60s pop & R&B, along with a little bit of classic country - and a few newer tunes that are so good they just have to be played! If you ever liked Chuck Berry / early Elvis / Eddie Cochran - or Willie Nelson / Hank Williams / Johnny Cash - then you'll love what we do.
We've been going since 2013, and in that time, we've played all kinds of venues, and built up a reputation and a following. We go down a storm everywhere we play, and invariably get repeat bookings. We also have a great time - we all love the music, and we love performing.
We've been there, done that, got all the T-shirts, and played till our fingers bled – rock’n’roll music is in our DNA, and it shows. There are very few bands that know how to rock out like it’s 1959 - but with 21st century energy, so check your inhibitions at the door, and prepare to Rock ‘n’ Roll!

We need a performance space of at least 8 meters x 5 meters. We require 2 x 13 amp power sockets and 4 parking spaces
Yes, we’re completely self contained. We bring our own PA system to all of our gigs as well as a simple lighting rig.
If the venue is difficult to locate or access, we need information that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue.
We can provide background music on request; this will be consistent with our style of music.
All our gigs are special - we've never had anything less than enthusiastic compliments wherever we play. We play regularly at the Barley Mow in Shepperton Green, which is without doubt the best music pub for miles. We've also played at music festivals, birthdays, weddings and wedding anniversaries, garden parties - and a Harley-Davidson showroom!
Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Gene Vincent, Eddie Cochran, Fats Domino, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Rolling Stones, Beatles and too many others to list. We don't have a favourite artist - and the idea that one song is the greatest of all time doesn't deserve an answer!
We come from a variety of backgrounds, but we've all been playing since our teens, which were - let's just say - some years ago! Between us we have over 200 years of gigging under our belts....
Weddings, closely followed by anniversaries and birthday parties - everyone's always in a great mood, and it sets up a great feedback loop between the band and our audience.
We usually play 3 x 45-minute sets - the last one normally s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-s a bit, as we find no-one wants us to stop! For set up, we need at least 1 and 1/2 hours; teardown 45 minutes to an hour.
We often perform outside; the main requirement is a covered space, to protect the band and equipment in the event of inclement weather. If the venue can't provide mains power, we will require a generator of the inverter type, for example the Honda EU30is.
For special occasions, such as weddings or birthdays, we can accommodate a small number of requests, with at least one month's notice. For all other occasions we will play a setlist of our choosing - we don't take requests on the night.
In 10 years of playing the Hog Wild brand of music, we have never had anything other than compliments after our gigs. Many people - not of only of our generation, but from all age groups - make a point of coming up to us after we've finished, using words like "fantastic", "what a great night", " best band ever". Check out our reviews if you don't believe us!
