Hi and thanks for visiting us! You're obviously planning a wedding, corporate event or a party just for the hell of it, right? We like to think we're the final ingredient you need to make it go with a proper bang!
We've been performing up and down the country for more than 10 years and in that time have played at hundreds of fantastically successful weddings, parties, corporate events, product launches and even the odd trade show - so really there's nothing we can't handle. The musicians that make up the band have decades of combined experience and have been honing our musical skills in some cases since childhood. We don't think you'll find a better prepared, better rehearsed and more experienced band anywhere.
The secret to our success however is the fact that we're all friends and really love what we do. That means that when you book High Five you won't get a bunch of bored musicians just going through the motions. We can’t wait to get together and fill dance floors. There's nothing quite like striking up a well-known tune and seeing everyone rush to the dance floor to show off their moves. It really is the best feeling in the world.
It's likely that you're considering booking a live band for the first time in your life. We know how important your event is to you and we pride ourselves on being able to deliver a brilliant night of entertainment for even the widest audience. We never forget that there are people of all ages and tastes, especially at weddings and we make a point of playing something for everyone so that no one is left out.
Our equipment is top notch and maintained perfectly, our transport is reliable (even the best band in the world is no use if they can't get to the venue) and in all the years we've been together we've never, ever let anyone down.

We would require a band space of at least 5 meters x 5 meters with close access to at least 2 power sockets. We would also need 3 parking spaces.
Yes, we are completely self contained. We bring our own PA system to every gig as well as a full lighting rig including haze machine and lasers!
We would need to know directions to the venue and where is best to load in. We would also like to know if there is a sound limiter and its max. decibel. As we have both male and female members, it would be useful to have somewhere private to change, ready for the event.
Yes, we have multiple Spotify playlists to suit the clients taste from wedding bangers to house anthems to romantic ceremonial background music. We also are very happy for the client to create their own Spotify playlist(s) to be played at their event through our PA system.
We normally arrive 2.5 - 3hrs before the performance to set up and have a thorough sound check. We pride ourselves on our sound quality with members of the band working in the live entertainment business, so we have a vast wealth of knowledge and experience to bring a professional audio experience. We usually perform 2 x 60min sets, with an option to perform a 3rd set if requested. We have also performed 1 x 90min set or even 1 x 120min set in the past, so we can be flexible and adaptable to suit your needs.
We are more than happy to perform outside and have done numerous times. All that we ask is for some shade, a flat surface and a power supply close to the performance area.
We have a very fluid approach to out sets and will react to what the audience likes to hear. We will have a template of 2 sets, but quite often deviate and adapt most gigs to react what the audience is dancing to! However, we are more than happy and willing to discuss specific songs with the client that they want to hear during our live performances. We can learn (up to) 5 songs that are not on our repetoire list and will work with the client on the sets to give them a personalised experience.
